RELEASE DEBUT GOSPEL CD ENTITLED
"FROM THE HEART"
New York, January 2001 - After several years of performing with
various gospel groups and three years as Brothers In Christ, the
group independently released their 12 song CD (predominately
self penned and produced). Co-production by Wonderspirit
Productions which consist of Keith Johnson (of Keith "Wonderboy"
Johnson & The Spiritual Voices) and keyboardist/engineer Ray
Braswell Jr. (former keyboardist for Charles Johnson and The
Revivals). "From The Heart" can be purchased at the following
growing list of retail stores: Westchester Book Store in White
Plains, NY; New Life Christian Book Store in Jamaica, NY; Family
Christian Book Store in Wantagh, NY; Rainbow Records in Harlem,

"From The Heart" is a gospel journey of traditional quartet,
worship & praise and smooth contemporary flavored arrangements.
The group's primary members Ivan Jackson (lead/background vocals
& bass guitar), Earlie B.Teemer (background vocals & guitar) and
Darren Perry (lead & background vocals) all pool their gospel
music influences from a myriad of previous group affiliations
such as Timothy Wright and Carl Davis (formerly of the Swan
Silvertones & current lead vocalist for the Dixie Hummingbirds)
just to name a few. Wonderspirit Productions has two top twenty
Billboard chart toppers and two Gospel Music Workshop of America
(GMWA) Excellence Award nominations for "quartet of the year"
and "best new artist of the year" under their belts.
The group continues to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in song
via ongoing live performances at churches, coffeehouses and
special events in the tri state area. You can enjoy them live
(two sets) every 4th Sunday at Harlem's legendary soul food
restaurant, Copelands for Gospel Brunch where a diverse audience
of traditional and untraditional gospel audiences have been
packing the house for delicious soul food and inspirational food
for the soul for the past five years!
